After fixing the RROD, I figured I should put a few fans in the xbox. Well, three fans and one LED later, this is what I ened up with. This is my first Xbox mod, I learned a few things that would help out on the next mod I'll do. There's a few video's out there that grab the 12v from the DVD rom. I don't agree with those video's. It'll put more strain on your dvd drive and motherboard if your running multiple fans and accessories. If you have three fans running off the 12v dvd, it's going to draw more power off the small wire designed for the dvd and may either heat up the wire, or cause a short on the motherboard. I'm sure it works, but I wouldn't do it.

A cooler with a shorter profile making it an excellent choice for those wanting top end passive cooling in smaller system cases. We received word from Noctua on our mistake mentioning the NH-C12P as the successor to the NH-U12P, this however is not the case and we genuinely apologise if this may have caused confusion.

An aftermarket heatsink/fan for your CPU will allow for enhanced cooling, which can translate to improved performance if you take advantage of the overclocking headroom it provides. In the span of 2-1/2 weeks I convert a massive gaming rig from air to water and throw in some high tech wiring to control it all. All air intake is filtered. It's a completely stealthed Liquid Cooling System with no lights no windows no noise. A tremendous 5 x 140mm + 120mm of radiator cool a hot blooded Xeon W3550 and a pair of ATI Radeon HD5970s. A Pair of top grade pumps handle the series loop in style. Every moving part is isolated with silicon grommets. Noiseblocker fans...the quietest most powerful 140mm fan I have handled. Every piece of hardware including the Plextor Drive was powdercoated Raven Black. Air intake from below satisfies the top mounted HW Labs GTX 420 and the front mounted GTX 280 provides needed airflow through the case. The GTX 120 fitted with a single UltraKaze proved capable of cooiling the processor by itself during a series of torture tests. The EK Supreme HF works perfectly and is an engineering marvel. The Indigo TIM proved to be remarkable in every way imaginable...and some that weren't. The EK Dual DDC V2 proved troublesome. Delrin fibers left along the cutting paths during milling were acting as wicks under the O-rings and it took two successive leak diagnostics to pinpoint the issues. Once repaired it performed flawlessly. The EK FC5970 Nickel Plated Copper and Delrin full coverage water blocks with anodized aluminum RAM sink plate fit the GFX cards perfectly and performed as expected with near ambient temperatures.
