In this video I am showing you guys how to apply thermal paste into a laptop processor and GPU/Chipset using Arctic Silver 5 (Dell Inspiron 1545) (Intel T4400 @ 2.2 GHz x2 and Intel GMA 4500MHD/Intel GM45/GM47). Most laptop processors are different from desktop processors because they do not have an Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS), so you will have to cover the whole CPU and/or GPU instead of using the "dot" method or "grain of rice" method. Before installing Arctic Silver 5, when watching a YouTube video in 720P, the fan is always on until I pause the video or the video is done playing, now, the fan just turns on and off when watching in 720P, which is a good thing, meaning my processor and GPU is running cooler.
